First race coming up!

It’s time for my first blog post. I hope you all like my new website. I would just like to thank those helping me to get it up and running!
It’s very soon time for my first race this year and I’m very excited about it, it seems I’ve finally got a competitive car to race in! The last test we did was an official Formula Renault BARC test at Silverstone and everybody had to carry a transponder. This test showed that we were not far off the very top, although our very limited budget and late start this year has only allowed us to do three tests and I had never been to the track before! The team has really done a superb job at getting the car ready and fast. I enjoyed driving the car around this famous track, it just felt great. It’s a very fast track with no boring places. It’s definably one of the best tracks, and cars, I’ve ever driven!
The first race is at Brands Hatch where I did a race in the series last summer. It should be a good result this weekend as I’ve been to the track once before. Although I’m a bit worried about the weather forecast as it proposes it can be a wet race on the Sunday with the Friday and Saturday dry. I know I can be fast in the wet but it’s worrying because we haven’t really done any wet testing. So I would like it to rain at the Friday test as well or not at all. But we
will just have to wait and see.
Anyway I’m really looking forward to throwing the car into Paddock Hill Bend again, its just such a great corner, see picture!
